High School: Was a 2010 graduate of University High School located in San Francisco, CA…Played varsity basketball all four years… Junior year: Captain, First Team All BCL, All-Metro Honorable Mention, team leading scorer…Senior Year: Captain, First Team all BCL, All Metro Honorable Mention, All-City All-Star, team leading scorer, Averaged 13.2 pts, 4 reb, and 2.6 steals per game… Helped lead the team to the first Nor-Cal Tournament for the first time in school history as a senior… Won BCL-West Title as a freshman…Also played Varsity Soccer 2008-2010: Female Athlete of the Year (2010)… Played for the Bulldawgs Club from 2007-2010.

Personal: Born in San Francisco, CA... Daughter of Caryl Welborn and Lucien Ruby… Literature/Economics Major…Spent the summer of 2012 teaching students in the Gambia, the smallest country on mainland Africa…Most thrill sports moment was winning a game that clinched the teams first trip to the Nor-Cal Tournament on a last second half-court shot by a fellow teammate senior year… Chose CMS because of the close-knit community and the ability to get a great education, the opportunity to continue playing basketball, the overall happy aura of the campus, and the sunshine.
